Switch Does Not Operate Properly (Ninety-Eight)
- Disconnect washer fluid level switch connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using voltmeter, measure voltage between Black/White wire terminal of washer fluid level switch connector and ground.
- If no voltage is present, check for open or short to ground in Black/White wire. If Black/White wire is okay, replace instrument cluster. If battery voltage is present, measure voltage between Black/White wire terminal and Black wire terminal of washer fluid level switch connector.
- If no voltage is present, check for open in Black wire. Repair or replace as necessary. If battery voltage is present, check for bad washer fluid level switch. If switch is okay, replace instrument cluster.
