Troubleshooting Hints

Try the following checks before doing the System Diagnosis.

• Check I/P Fuse Block Fuses 15, 11 and 6 by visual inspection.
• Check Circuit Breaker 4 by operating the Rear Defogger.
• Check Relay Center Fuses 3 and 4 by visual inspection.
• If no Remote Keyless Entry function operate, check Transmitter battery terminals. They should be clean and make good contact with the battery.
• If in doubt about the condition of the Transmitter batteries, replace them with new ones. Checking battery voltage with a DVOM may give false results.
