Chart C10B - A/C Clutch Control
NOTE:
The following step numbers refer to the numbers in the accompanying flow chart(s).
- This test checks for battery voltage to relay through circuit 67.
- Substitutes for relay to determine if problem is in relay or in circuit 59, A/C clutch coil, high press, switch or ground.
- This test checks for open in circuit 67 between cycling switch and A/C fuse or open circuit 67 to relay.
- This test checks to see that the "A/C ON" signal is getting to the ECM through circuit 67. A test light off at this time indicates circuit 67 is open between the cycling switch and the ECM.
