| Occupant classification system control unit | Occupant classification system control unit receives occupant detection signal from occupant classification system sensor, and transmits the occupant detection signal to air bag diagnosis sensor unit. |
| Air bag diagnosis sensor unit | Air bag diagnosis sensor unit transmits the seat belt buckle switch signal to combination meter via CAN communication. |

SEAT BELT WARNING LAMP OPERATION
Seat belt warning lamp on combination meter turns ON during a period when ignition switch is turns ON until seat belts are fastened. Seat belt warning lamp turns OFF when seat belt is fastened. Seat belt warning lamp turns ON again when seat belt is unfastened. Refer Seat Belt Warning Lamp .
SEAT BELT WARNING (BUZZER) OPERATION
Seat belt warning (buzzer) sounds turned ignition switch ON or vehicle speed is approximately 15 km/h (9.3 MPH) or more while seat belts are not fastened. Seat belt warning (buzzer) stops when seat belt is fastened. Refer Seat Belt Warning .
