Removal and Installation


REMOVAL

1.Turn the power switch ON.

CAUTION:
Never set the vehicle to READY.
2.Release the parking brake.

CAUTION:
If the brake cannot be released, release it manually. Refer to "Parking Brake Actuator" Description and Operation.
3.Turn the power switch OFF.
4.Disconnect 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to "Precaution for Removing 12V Battery" Precaution For Removing 12V Battery.
5.Remove the luggage floor front finisher. Refer to "LUGGAGE FLOOR FRONT FINISHER : Removal and Installation" Luggage Floor Front Finisher.
6.Disconnect electric parking brake control module harness connector.
7.Remove electric parking brake control module.

CAUTION:
To prevent damage to the parts, never drop removed parts.

INSTALLATION

Note the following, and install in the reverse order of removal.
- Perform inspection after installation. Refer to "Inspection" Inspection.
