Current Codes Using AIR Bag Warning Light

- Turn ignition on. After AIR BAG warning light illuminates for 7 seconds and goes off, turn ignition switch off within one second. Wait at least 3 seconds. Repeat on/off procedure 2 more times.
- Turn ignition on. AIR BAG light will now flash in diagnostic mode. If AIR BAG warning light comes ON for 7 seconds, OFF for 2 seconds, ON for 3 seconds, OFF for 2 seconds and then flashes a series of quick flashes, flashes represent fault codes. If AIR BAG warning light comes ON for 7 seconds, OFF for 2 seconds, ON for 1.5 seconds, OFF for 0.5 second, ON for 1.5 seconds, OFF for 2 seconds and then flashes a series of quick flashes, flashes represent fault codes. See FAULT CODES (SIDE) . Turn ignition off. Disconnect both battery cables. Repair system. After repair is complete, system must be returned to USER mode. See CLEARING CODES .
