Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (COMBINATION METER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the C6 meter connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      C6-1 - Body ground Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard voltage 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C6-3 - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      C6-4 - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V

    NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK : REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
