DTC P1217: Engine Over Temperature (Overheat): Notes

NOTE: If DTC P1119 or P1480 is also set, perform diagnosis for those DTCs first. See DTC P1119: RADIATOR COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (CIRCUIT)  or DTC P1480: COOLING FAN SPEED CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE (CIRCUIT)  .
NOTE: Before performing diagnostic procedure, follow testing procedure. See TESTING PROCEDURE  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
