July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Draining & Refilling

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Warm transaxle to normal operating temperature.
  2. Stop engine.
  3. Remove drain plug, and allow fluid to drain. Reinstall drain plug. Tighten drain plug to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Remove dipstick and add (same amount as drained) fluid through fill tube. See RECOMMENDED FLUIDS  .
  5. Warm transaxle to normal operating temperature.
  6. Shift transaxle through all gears. Move gearshift lever to "P" position. Check fluid level. See CHECKING FLUID LEVELS  . Add fluid as necessary.
