DTC Confirmation Test

  1. Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature. Select DATA MONITOR mode with scan tool.
  2. Maintain the following conditions for at least 5 consecutive seconds:
    • ENG SPEED: less than 3000 RPM.
    • B/FUEL SCHDL: less than 12.6 msec.
  3. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
