July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect TCM harness connector. See Fig 1 . Disconnect ECM harness connector. See Figure or Figure . Check continuity of Purple/White wire between TCM harness connector terminal No. 5 and ECM harness connector terminal No. 26, and Pink/Black wire between TCM harness connector terminal No. 6 and ECM harness connector terminal No. 27. See Figure and Fig 2 . Also, check circuits for short to ground and short to voltage. If problem is found, repair as necessary. If problem is not found, go to next step.
  2. No problem is indicated at this time. Problem may be intermittent. See INTERMITTENTS in TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article.
