DTC Confirmation Procedure

Ensure engine coolant temperature is less than 194°F (90°C). Turn ignition on. Select DATA MONITOR with scan tool. Ensure COOLAN TEMP/S reading is less than 194°F (90°C). Complete the following before engine temperature reaches 194°F (90°C). Start engine. Drive vehicle at 43 MPH for 100 seconds. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to appropriate DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE. If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
