Trunk Lid Opener Actuator Check

  1. Check Trunk Lid Opener

    Check trunk lid opener operation with trunk lid opener switch. If trunk lid opens go to next step.

  2. Check Trunk Lid Opener Actuator Circuit

    Disconnect Smart Entrance Control Unit (SECU) harness connector. Using a jumper wire, apply ground to terminal No. 12 (Pink/Black wire) at SECU harness connector. If trunk lid opens, replace SECU. If trunk lid does not open, check wiring harness for open or short between SECU and trunk lid opener actuator. SeeWIRING DIAGRAMS  .
