Overall Function Test

Start engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperature. Using DVOM, measure voltage (backprobe) between terminals No. 43 (engine ground) and No. 46 (sensor signal) at ECM harness connector. See Figure. Monitor DVOM with engine speed at 2000 RPM. Voltage should be greater than .61 volt at least once, or less than .23 volt at least once.
