Shift Lock Control Unit (SLCU)

SLCU receives input signals from the key switch, ignition switch (ON or START position) and the shift lever detent switch. Based on these signals, the SLCU controls the operation of the key lock solenoid (to prevent ignition key from being turned on while vehicle is in gear) or shift lock solenoid (to prevent vehicle from being shifted out of PARK while ignition is off).
