Fuel Temperature Sensor Test - Code 41
- On Maxima and 300ZX models, disconnect fuel temperature sensor. Measure the resistance of the fuel temperature sensor, and compare with SENSOR TEMPERATURE table.
- Disconnect 20-pin connector and measure the resistance between terminal No. 15 and ground. See Figure
. Resistance should be infinite. Connect the connector and ground with a lead wire. Measure the resistance between terminal No. 15 and ground. Resistance should not exist.

- If resistance readings are okay, replace ECCS control unit. If not okay, check harness for continuity and repair if necessary. If harness is okay, measure resistance of fuel temperature sensor.
- If sensor temperature resistance readings are okay, replace ECCS control unit. If readings are not as specified, replace fuel temperature sensor and pressure regulator as an assembly.
