With engine off and ignition on, check for presence of battery voltage at mixture heater harness connector. If no battery voltage is present, check water temperature switch and mixture heater relay. Check continuity between terminals of water temperature switch at connector.

Check for continuity between terminals of water temperature switch at connector. Check mixture heater relay. If necessary, check wiring harness and automatic choke relay.
