Auto-Cruise Control Switch Check

  1. Remove the auto-cruise control switch (Refer to AUTO-CRUISE CONTROL ).
  2. Measure the resistance between terminal 2 and terminal 3 when each of the "ON/OFF" (MAIN), "CANCEL", "COAST/SET" and "ACC/RES" switches is pressed. If the values measured at the time each switch is pressed correspond to those in the table below, the resistance values are correct.

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Switch position Specified condition
All switches are OFF. Open circuit
"ON/OFF" (MAIN) switch is "ON". Continuity (less than 2 ohms)
"CANCEL" switch is ON. 202.5 - 208 Ω
"COAST/SET" switch is ON. 610.5 - 624.5 Ω
"ACC/RES" switch is ON. 1838 - 1877 Ω
