Keyless Entry System: General Description

A keyless entry system has been used < XLS (standard), LS (option) >. The main features are:

• Antenna and receiver are incorporated in the ETACS-ECU.
• ID code can be registered by using the scan tool (MUT-III).
• Transmitter is a key holder type, which incorporates lock button and unlock button.
• The locking is answered back by two times1 flashing of the dome light, two times1 flashing of the hazard warning light and one time sounding of the horn.
• The unlocking is answered back by illuminating of the dome light for 15 seconds and one time flashing of the hazard warning light.
