July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Transmission Oil Replacement

  1. Remove the filler plug.
  2. Remove the drain plug and drain the oil.
  3. Tighten the oil drain plug to the specified torque.

    Tightening torque < W5M51 >: 32 +/- 2 N. m (23 +/- 2 ft-lb) 

    Tightening torque < W6MAA >: 35 +/- 4 N. m (26 +/- 3 ft-lb) 

  4. Fill with specified oil till the level comes to the lower portion of oil filler plug hole.

    Specified transmission oil < W5M51 >: Gear oil API classification GL - 4 SAE 75W-85W or 75W- 90 

    Specified transmission oil < W6MAA >: DIA QUEEN SUPER MULTI GEAR SAE 75W- 85 (GL - 4) or exact equivalent 

    Quantity < W5M51 >: 2.8 dm 3  (2.9 quart) 

    Quantity < W6MAA >: 2.2 dm 3  (2.3 quart) 

  5. Tighten the oil filler plug to the specified torque.

    Tightening torque < W5M51 >: 32 +/- 2 N. m (23 +/- 2 ft-lb) 

    Tightening torque < W6MAA >: 35 +/- 4 N. m (26 +/- 3 ft-lb)
