Entry Conditions For Adjustment Mode
- Set switches to the following conditions:
- Hazard warning light switch: OFF
- Diagnosis control: ON (Connect scan tool MB991958 to the data link connector, or connect the data link connector terminal 1 to ground.)
- Key reminder switch: OFF (insert the ignition key)
- Ignition switch: "LOCK" (OFF)
- Driver's door switch: OFF (driver's door closed)
- If the windshield washer switch remains on for 10 seconds or more, the tone alarm incorporated in the ETACS-ECU sounds once, and then enters the adjustment mode.
