Function Selection
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect MUT-II Scan Tool (MB991502) to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition switch to ON position.
- From immobilizer menu, select SPECIAL FUNCTION. To register key identification (encrypted code), see KEY ID REGISTER (ENCRYPTED CODE REGISTRATION)

- After registration procedure, turn ignition switch to LOCK position and leave off for at least 10 seconds. Ensure each of ignition keys can start engine. Ensure immobilizer and ECM/PCM DTCs do not reset. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position before disconnecting scan tool.
