Pattern Select Switch

Using screwdriver, remove pattern select switch from console. Switch is located at rear of gearshift lever, to right of emergency brake handle. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using circuit tester, check continuity between pattern select switch terminals No. 1 and 6. See Fig 1 . Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, replace pattern select switch.
