Test E-1: Keyless Entry System Inoperative
- Check central door locking system operation. If door locks operate properly, go to next step. If door locks do not operate properly, repair central door locking system. See SYMPTOM TEST INDEX under SYMPTOM TESTS.
- Check input signals from transmitter switches. See INPUT SIGNAL CHECK FUNCTION under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If input signal test shows a fault, repair indicated circuit and retest system. If input signal test is okay, replace ETACS-ECU and retest system.
