Remove clutch

- Note and follow safety instructions on containers.
- Conduct all work in appropriate personal protective equipment only.
- Lock the flywheel with the transmission bolt (1) and special tools 0 496 171 (11 9 811)
and 0 494 793 (11 9 265)
.
- Loosen 3 screws, in order to install the special tool 0 493 839 (21 2 170)
and 2 288 165
.
- Put on the special tool 0 493 839 (21 2 170)
and 2 288 165
tighten at the knurled screw (1).
- Screw in the spindle (2), the membrane spring (1) is tensioned and the clutch disc is tension-free.
- Loosen the remaining 3 screws and remove the clutch with clutch disc from the flywheel.

- Unscrew bolts (arrows) to mount special tool 0 493 839 (21 2 170)
and 2 288 165.
- Set up special tools 0 493 839 (21 2 170)
and 2 288 165
and pre-tension with the knurled screw (1).
- Screw in the spindle (2), the membrane spring (1) is tensioned and the clutch disc is tension-free.
- Unscrew the remaining bolts (arrows) and remove the clutch from the flywheel.
