86 21... Removing side lid hinge

NOTE: Remove side lid,
REFER TO 86 21... REMOVING LID.
Remove gas spring, remove gas spring on hinge side only,
REFER TO 86 21... REMOVING GAS SPRING.

Unscrew bolt (1). Remove hinge (2). If fitted, remove spacer plate(s) (3).

Installation

Pass screws (1) again through spacer tubes. Reinstall existing spacer plate(s) in its/their original position(s). Use new self-locking nuts.

Tightening Torque,

Refer to TIGHTENING TORQUE 86 21 6AZ.
