Retrofitting

00 58 298 Retrofitting the crankcase ventilation (cold climate version only)





Necessary preliminary work:
^ Remove screw plug.





Remove clean air pipe.

Dimension A = 12 mm

Dimension B = diameter10 mm

Drill hole diameter 10 mm.

Insert banjo bolt (1) through the hole from the inside.








Screw connector (1) onto the banjo bolt.





Screw tank ventilation line (1) onto crankcase with connector (2).

Tightening torque 11 11 8AZ.

Insert line (1) on connector on clean air pipe and secure with hose clamp (3).

Secure line (1) with cable strap (4).

Reassemble the vehicle.
