Fuel Conditioning Module - 6.0L Diesel: Disassembly

WARNING: Do not smoke, carry lighted tobacco or have an open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-related component. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may be ignited. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.
  1. Remove the fuel conditioning module bowl and drain the fuel from the housing.

  3. Remove and discard the fuel filter and O-ring seal.

  5. Remove the bolts and the fuel pump.
    • Remove and discard the O-ring seals.

  7. Remove the bolts and the pressure relief valve.
    • Remove and discard the O-ring seals.

    CAUTION: Do not remove the heater pan or damage to the fuel conditioning module housing will occur.
  9. Remove the bolts and the fuel conditioning module mounting bracket.
