Gearshift Lever: Disassembly

Unscrew the gearshift lever knob and remove the compression spring.
- Remove the outer boot with the reverse gear release mechanism.

NOTE: Installation position of the spring.

Disconnect the angle lever.
- Remove the snap ring.

Disassemble the angle lever.

Remove the bearing housing with the washer, reverse gear interlock mechanism and bearing shell.

NOTE: Only if the threaded pins are damaged.
