Actuator Cable
NOTE:
Ensure speed control servo cable is not kinked or twisted. Replace cable if damaged. DO NOT pull excessively on actuator cable during adjustment.
Check accelerator cable adjustment. To adjust cable, turn adjusting nut on cable until throttle is in fully closed position and adjusting nut is against accelerator cable bracket. See Fig 1 . Turn the adjusting nut 1/2 to 1 turn counterclockwise. Tighten speed control actuator cable lock nut to 71-97 INCH lbs. (8-11 N.m). A slight amount of slack should exist with throttle fully closed. Test speed control system for proper operation.
