| 3 | Disconnect electrical connector (1). | ||
| 4 | Remove turning angle sensor (4). | ||
| Check | |||
| 5 | Check O-ring (3). | When reusing turning angle sensor (4). If corresponding findings are present, ↓ Replace turning angle sensor (4). |

| 6 | Insert turning angle sensor (4) into transfer case. | ||
| 7 | Turn turning angle sensor (4) in clockwise direction until bar (2) in turning angle sensor (4) engages into groove of gearshift shaft. | ||
| 8 | Turn turning angle sensor (4) approx. 90° further in clockwise direction and tighten. | *BA28.19-N-1002-01TSR | |
| 9 | Connect electrical connector (1). | ||
| 10 | Lower vehicle. | ||
