	Remove/install
1	Raise vehicle.		AR00.60-D-1000-04TS
	Special instructions for lifting and supporting vehicle		AH00.60-N-0100-01TS
2	Remove bottom engine compartment paneling.	If installed. : Do not reinstall the lower engine compartment paneling until after you have performed a leak test.	AR61.20-D-1105TS
3	Remove the charge air hose (2) from the charge air line (1).	Seal the charge air hose (2).	AR09.41-D-1311-01WE

4	Lower vehicle.
5	Remove the washer fluid reservoir (3) and place it away from the working area.	Do not remove the lamp unit. Do not remove any connected lines.	AR82.35-D-6000TSR
6	Remove the electrical wiring harness (4).	: Check retaining clips Depending on the findings, Replace damaged retaining clips.
7	Remove screw (5).
8	Remove bracket (6).
9	Remove bolts_(7).	Bolt, charge air line upstream of charge air cooler to cylinder head cover	*BA09.41-N-1004-01O
		Bolt, charge air line upstream of charge air cooler to bracket	*BA09.41-N-1005-01O

10	Loosen the bolt (8) a few turns.	The charge air line (1) must be removed.

11	Remove the charge air line (1) from the noise damper (9) and remove upward.	Seal the noise damper (9). Installation  : Replace the sealing ring and wet with antifriction paste. WIS Service Media  wsm://04_201900_74

12	Install in the reverse order
	Check
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. 13	Check for leaktightness when engine is running.	Visual inspection only.
