Remove/Install Boost Pressure Sensor Downstream Of Throttle Valve - Ar09.41-D-0004TSC

CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Remove air filter housing.   AR09.10-S-1150EG 
3 Remove electrical connector (2) from bracket (1).    
4 Release and disconnect electrical connector (2).    
5 Remove electric line (3) together with retaining clips (4) from bracket (1).    
6 Remove electric line (5) together with retaining clip (6) from bracket (1).    
7 Unclip retaining clip (8) with electric line (7) from bracket (1).    
8 Remove ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/36).   AR07.08-D-7011TSC
9 Remove bracket (1) upwards from retaining bolts (9).    
10 Release and disconnect electrical connector (10).    
11 Remove screw (11) and remove intake manifold pressure sensor (B28/24). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Replace sealing ring (12). Ensure sealing ring (12) is correctly seated.  
12 Install in the reverse order.    
INSPECT Check     
WARNING Risk of burn injuries,  suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area. AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
13 Perform engine test run. While doing so, check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
