	Remove
1	Lower one side window of a front door.
2	Check adjustment of sliding door.	Model 907.6/7/8 with code T16 (Sliding door right) Model 907.6/7/8 with code T19 (Sliding door left) Gap dimensions of sliding door	*BE60.00-N-1009-01TS
		Feeler gauge If the adjustment of the sliding door is not correct, ↓ Adjust sliding door.	Fig 1

3	Remove seal (3) of the side window (1).	Seal (3) is accessible from the vehicle interior.
	Risk of injury  from cutting wire tearing or becoming hot and from splinters of glass wher cutting out bonded windows	Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.	AS67.00-Z-0004-01A
4	Cut out respective side window (1) with windshield removal tool.		AR67.00-D-0001-01TS
		Carefully cut out side window (1). Lift adjacent component parts (e.g. roof lining) when cutting out. Otherwise the adjacent components can be damaged. Commercially available devices/tools  Windshield removal tool case Punch tubular probe for cutting wire through adhesive seam at an easily accessible point.
	Clean
5	Remove remaining adhesive material from body flange.	Cut residual adhesive down to approx. 1 mm and remove loose adhesive material.
6	Vacuum off any glass splinters and contamination.	Commercially available devices/tools  Wet and dry vacuum cleaner
	Install
7	Apply primer to the primed surface on the body flange. General notes about painting the body flange in the glazing area		AH98.00-P-9408-06A
		Do not apply primer on residual adhesive material. Otherwise, the adhesive effect will be

8	Attach spacers (2) to the respective window cutout.	To prevent the side window (1) from lowering, attach 2 spacers (2) to the window cutout at the bottom. One spacer (2) on the side is sufficient for the correct lateral alignment. Spacer	Fig 3

11	Install seal (3) on the body flange.
