	Remove/install
1	Remove drive plate.		AR03.30-D-8003TSC
2	Remove pulse ring (2).	Do not use sharp-edged tools. The rubber lining of the pulse ring (2) must not get damaged. The function of the pulse ring (2) will be impaired otherwise. The pulse ring (2) must not come into contact with external magnetic fields. The pulse ring (2) will otherwise be damaged. : The contact surfaces of the pulse ring (2) and the crankshaft flange must be absolutely clean and free of corrosion. Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper. The surfaces will otherwise be destroyed, rendering the crankshaft or pulse ring (2) unusable. The cylinder pin for the crankshaft determines the installation position of the pulse ring (2).
	Check
3	Check end cover (5) and radial shaft sealing ring (6) for leaks.	If a leakage is present, ↓ Replace end cover (5) with radial shaft sealing ring (6).	AR01.40-D-8925TSC
	Clean
4	Clean crankcase (3) and oil pan top section (4) in area of end cover (5).	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
5	Install in the reverse order
