	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2.1	Remove air filter housing.	Engine 264 in model 167	AR09.10-P-1150MRK
2.2	Remove charge-air distributor.	Engine 274 in model 167	AR09.41-P-8683MRM
3	Release and disconnect electrical connection (3).
4	Unclip electric line of knock sensor 1 (A16/1) from charge-air distributor.	Engine 264 in model 167
5	Remove center and rear sections of lower engine compartment lining.	Engine 264 in model 167	AR61.20-P-1105ME
6	Remove screw (1) and remove knock sensor 1 (A16/1).	Engine 264 in model 167Bolt knock sensor to crankcase	*BA15.10-P-1001-02H

7	Install in the reverse order.
8	Connect vehicle diagnosis system, read out fault memory, and delete.

	Check
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
9	Conduct engine test run while checking for proper operation of the engine.
