The next steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle for model 907.233 and must be performed in a similar way in the event of damage on the right side of the vehicle.
- Scribe separation line on upper section (2) of spring bracket (area A).
- Disconnect upper section (2) at separating point (area A).
- Expose spot welds (areas B, B1 , C, and C1 ).
- Cut out spot welds (areas B, B1
, C, and C1
).
Cut out spot welds from the underside (areas B1 , and C1 ).
- Model 907.1/2 Expose spot welds on lower section (1) (areas F, G, and H).
- Model 907.1/2 Cut out spot welds (areas F, G, and H).
- Expose spot welds on lower section (1) (areas E and I).
- Cut out spot welds (areas E and I).
- Remove lower section (1) together with upper section (2) of damaged spring bracket.
- Expose weld seams on remaining section (3) (area J).
- Cut off weld seams on remaining section (3) (area J).
- Remove remaining section (3) of damaged spring bracket.
- Model 907.1/2 Grind down mating surfaces to bare metal (area K).
- Grind down mating surfaces to bare metal in crosshatched areas.
