Lamp-To-Connector Interface Guidelines: Performance

The lamp-to-connector interface must meet (at a minimum) the following performance requirements:

1. Capable of service of 10 years and/or 1,000,000 miles.
2. Lamp-to-connector interface must meet the following TMC performance requirements in SAE J2577. These standards include:
   1. Environmental requirements for shock and vibration and drop testing.
   2. Water submersion
   3. Power wash
   4. Engagement and disengagement forces
   5. Corrosion requirements
   6. Current cycling
   7. Ultraviolet resistance
   8. Exposure to all vehicle truck fluids.
