Emergency Assistance Module: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the Integrated Center Stack (ICS) from the instrument panel cover. Refer to CONTROLS, REAR CABIN COMFORT (RCCC)., REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION MODULE, INTEGRATED CENTER STACK (ICSM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector (4) and antenna connectors (3) from the Emergency Assistance Module (EAM) (2).
- Remove the four screws (1) from the EAM mounting bracket that secure the EAM (2) to the bracket.
- Remove the EAM (2) from the vehicle.
