- Remove threaded bushing (2) with respective Allen wrench from cylinder head (1).
- Clean thread for threaded bushing (2) in cylinder head (1).
Blow out threaded hole with compressed air and clean free of soiling.
- Apply adhesive in a thin and even manner on new threaded bushing (2).
Perform operation steps 4 and 5 immediately after applying the adhesive.
The strength of the cylinder head (1) adhesively bonded connection to the threaded bushing (2) is otherwise not ensured.
- Screw in new threaded bushing (2) up to collar
and check screwed in dimension.
Screw-in dimension is measured from cylinder head cover sealing surface.

- Caulk threaded bushing (2) with a suitable tool through a grain size (arrow).
