Remove/Install Leak Oil Line To Fuel Injectors - Ar07.03-D-9110TSR

  Risk of explosion  caused by fuel Igniting. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by fuel spraying out at high pressure Keep all ignition sources out of hazard area. Do not carry out any work on system when it is pressurized. AS07.16-Z-0001-01A
  Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contactwith fuel. No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove engine cover.   AR01.10-D-2405TSR
2 Remove connection fittings (1) from fuel injectors. IMPORTANT To do this, actuate clips (2) in direction of arrow, and remove connection fittings (1) from fuel injectors upwards.

3.1 Cut through the leak oil line (3) vertical to its longitudinal axis in front of the white marking (5). If no leak oil line (6) has been installed as a repair solution yet.
NOTES
On the end of the leak oil line (3) that remains in the vehicle, there must still be 10 mm of the leak oil line (3) in front of the white marking (5).
Otherwise, the leak oil line (6) cannot be correctly installed.
 
3.2 Remove the leak oil line (6) from the leak oil line (3) that remains in the vehicle. If a leak oil line (6) has already been installed as a repair solution.  
INSTALLING Install     
4 Connect the leak oil line (6) to the leak oil line (3) that remains in the vehicle. IMPORTANT The connection fitting (4) is already part of the leak oil line (6).  
5 Apply lubricant to the O-rings of the connection fittings (1). Special lubricant *BR00.45-Z-1055-06A 
6 Attach the connection fittings (1) of the leak oil line (6) at the fuel injectors. NOTES
Ensure that the connection fittings (1) at the fuel injectors are seated correctly.
Otherwise the connection fittings (1) could be damaged.
IMPORTANT To do this, attach the connection fittings
  1. at the fuel injectors and actuate the clips
  2. against the direction of arrow.
 
INSPECT Check     
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
7 Check fuel system in the area of the leak oil line (6) for leaks with engine running. IMPORTANT Visual inspection only.  
8 Install engine cover.   AR01.10-D-2405TSR
