Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel. |

| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove air intake pipe. | AR09.10-D-8131TSV | |
| 2 | Remove vacuum line (1) from cover of left cylinder head cover and place outside of working area. | ||
| 3 | Remove glow output stage (2) with bracket and place outside of working area. | ||
| 4 | Disconnect electrical connector (3). | ||
| 5 | Open clamps (4). | Fig 2 | |
| 6 | Remove fuel hoses (5) from fuel filter (6). | Depending on the findings, ↓ Replace affected fuel hose (5). |

| 8 | Remove fuel filter (6) in upward direction. | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 10 | Switch ignition on and off several times in succession. | Do not start engine yet; leave ignition switchec on for at least 15 s. The fuel high-pressure pump may otherwise be damaged when the engine is started. |
