Combined Equipment Identification

The equipment owner shall attach a plate or decal identifying the combined classifications of the vehicle and temperature control unit. This plate or decal must be attached to the outside roadside lower front corner and also affixed to the rear inside wall of the vehicle. See Fig 2

The plate (decal) with identifying characters will be affixed to the vehicle using the parameters shown in conjunction with Fig 2

  1. Data shown is for a 102" wide trailer with 3.0" sidewalls.
  2. Hybrid floors include double-tee, duct-tee duct, spread-tee and wide-flange duct floors.
