Remove/Install Filler Neck Of Fuel Tank - Ar47.10-D-7541TSC

Model 907 with engine 274

  Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
  Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contactwith fuel. No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Open fuel filler cap (1). IMPORTANT in order to relieve pressure in the fuel tank  
2 Empty the fuel tank.   AR47.10-D-4001TS 
3 Unscrew screws (3) and remove cover INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that seal is seated correctly on the cover (2).  
INSPECT Check     
4 Check seal on cover (2). Depending on the findings,

Replace seal on cover (2).
 
5 Unscrew screw (4). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace lock nut for screw (4).  
6 Open cable tie, slide protection (11) to one side and remove hose at filler neck (7). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace cable tie.  
7 Remove sealing (5). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that sealing (5) is seated correctly.  
8 Remove clip (9) from filler neck (7).    
9 Release and disconnect electrical connector (6).    
10 Remove filler neck (7).    
11 Remove protective ring (8) from filler neck (7). If protective ring (8) or filler neck (7) are replaced.  
12 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Check     
WARNING Risk of burn injuries,  suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out o' the hazard area. AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
13 Perform engine test run; in this connection, check fuel system in area of filler neck (7) for leaks. NOTES
Remove escaping fuel.
Damage will otherwise occur.
