| 2 | Remove brake caliper (6). | Do not tension or kink brake hose. Otherwise the brake hose will be damaged. |

| 3 | Position electrical wiring harness (5) outside working area. | ||

| 6 | Remove steering knuckle from transverse control arm (11). | AR33.20-D-3505TSR | |
| 7 | Remove front-axle half (1). | LU To do so, remove bolts (3). |

| 8 | Check shock-absorber strut (2). | The decoupling element at the pivot bearing must be replaced. Otherwise, noise will be generated during driving and during steering movements. |
