REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove paneling on A-pillar   AR68.30-S-4050E
2 Lower a side window in front door and open front door    
WARNING Risk of injury  from cutting wire tearing or becoming hot and from splinters of glass when cutting out bonded windows Wear protective gloves and safety glasses. AS67.00-Z-0004-01A 
3 Cut out triangular window (1) with cutting wire (2) NOTES Protect working area against damage from cutting wire (2) with suitable material. Damage may occur otherwise.
IMPORTANT Do not reuse triangular window (1) after cutting out.
Have second person help.
Punch pipe probe for cutting wire (2) through adhesive seam at easily accessible point.
IMPORTANTCommercially available devices/tools  Cutting wire with handles		 AR67.30-S-2600-01S 
CLEAN Clean     
4 Remove glue residues from body flange IMPORTANT Cut residual adhesive down to approx. 1 mm and remove loose adhesive material.  
5 Vacuum off glass splinters and contamination IMPORTANTCommercially available devices/tools  Wet and dry vacuum cleaner  
INSTALLING Install     
6 Apply primer to body flange on primed surface    
Notice  General notes about painting the body flange in the glazing area NOTES Do not apply primer on top of residual adhesive. Otherwise, the adhesive effect will be impaired. AH98.00-P-9408-06A

7 Prepare adhesive cartridge IMPORTANTCommercially available devices/tools  Electric and pneumatic cartridge gun AR67.10-S-1000-07S

8 Glue in triangular side window (1)   AR67.30-S-2600-02S

9 Install paneling on A-pillar   AR68.30-S-4050E
CLEAN Clean     
10 Clean triangular side window (1) and vehicle interior IMPORTANT Clean triangular side window (1) only after end of curing time.
The drive-away time for the 2-component repair kit is 1 h.
