Cavity preservation
Corrosion influences act on the body cavities in the form of condensation and other forms of ingressed moisture.
The cavity preservation makes a significant contribution to the long-term corrosion protection of the vehicle body.
In series production the cavity preservation is conducted after the painting process in an automated spray procedure with corrosion protection wax products.
The use of strong penetrating (creep behavior), water-repelling and waterproof waxes ensures that the inside areas of the cavities as well as gaps, double plating, folds, flanges, edges and weld seams are uniformly coated.
