With Trailer Tow: Installation

  1. Position the Hands Free Entry Power Liftgate (HFEPLG) module to the vehicle for installation.
  2. Route the wiring harness (2) over the trailer tow hitch (1).

  3. Re-secure the wiring harness by routing through and tightening the tie straps hold downs (1).

  4. Install the fasteners (1) to secure the HFEPLG module with sensor to the vehicle.

  5. Connect the wiring harness to the HFEPLG module.
  6. Install the lower fasteners that retain the bottom of the rear fascia and tighten securely.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
