It is paramount that you keep to the tightening sequence of the alternator screws.
Damage may occur otherwise.
- Screw screws of the alternator into the timing case.
Do not tighten screws yet.
- Tighten top screws of the alternator to stage 1
.
- Tighten bottom screw of the alternator to stage 1
- Tighten top screw of the alternator to stage 2
- Tighten bottom screw of the alternator to stage 2
