Remove/Install Transfer Case - Ar28.10-D-0100TSX

	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Remove/install
1	Raise vehicle.		AR00.60-D-1000-04TS
1	Special instructions for lifting and supporting vehicle		AH00.60-N-0100-01TS
2	Remove propeller shaft from front axle differential.		AR41.10-D-0070TSX
3	Remove propeller shaft.		AR41.10-D-0050TS
4	Disconnect electrical connectors (3, 6).
5	Pull bleed line (2) out of crossmember (arrow).	Do not kink bleed line (2).
6	Support transfer case (1) using major assembly support and mounting plate and secure with tensioning strap.

7	Remove transfer case (1).	: Grease drive shaft gearing. To do so, remove screws of transfer case (1) from connecting flange to transmission. Screw, transfer case to connecting flange	*BA28.10-N-1002-01TSR
7	Remove transfer case (1).	Anticorrosion grease 40 g/DB supply specification 6834.00	*BR00.45-Z-1006-06A
8	Install in the reverse order.

9	Check oil level in transfer case (1).		AR28.10-D-1000-26TSX
	Automatic transmission fluids (ATF) 1 (specification 236.12) 1		BB00.40-P-0236-12A
		Drain screw to transmission housing	*BA28.40-N-1001-01E
		Filling screw to transmission housing If oil level is not OK: ↓ Correct oil level.	*BA28.40-N-1002-01E
